Born to immigrant parents from Nicaragua and the Netherlands in Florida, Rex's life was pinned by a diagnosis that led to overcoming despite facing cancer four different ways during his life.

At the age of 24, he launched his first corporate business which was successfully making $300k/yr in revenues before turning to public service to become a firefighter/paramedic. Rex is a retired Firefighter/Paramedic and Mentor to Cancer Survivors. His love of nature and the outdoors has led to his becoming a PADI Professional Scuba Instructor, Entrepreneur, and USCG Master 100-Ton Licensed Yacht Captain. Rex now manages a private Yacht program but maintains a professional author/speaker/consultant/media business on success with a positive mindset.
